Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Fractional CFO to join our team. In this part-time role, you will work closely with startup founders and executive teams, providing on-demand financial leadership, tailored strategies, and expert advice to optimize their financial operations. This position is perfect for a strategic thinker who enjoys collaborating with businesses at different stages of growth and can deliver value without the commitment of a full-time CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy: Develop and implement scalable financial strategies that align with the client’s business goals and growth plans.

• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and optimize cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations and long-term sustainability.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Create detailed budgets and financial forecasts, providing clients with the insights needed to make informed decisions.

• Fundraising Support: Assist with preparing financials for fundraising rounds, pitching to investors, and navigating the due diligence process.

• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations, particularly under UK & US GAAP and IFRS.

• Transfer Pricing: Advise clients on transfer pricing policies and strategies in line with international tax and regulatory standards.

• Cost Management: Identify areas for cost savings and implement strategies to improve financial efficiency.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with founders, leadership teams, and other financial professionals to provide strategic advice and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or in a similar senior financial role, preferably within startups or growth-stage companies.

• Strong understanding of UK & US GAAP, IFRS, and Transfer Pricing regulations.

• Expertise in corporate finance, financial planning, analysis, and fundraising strategies.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and operationally.

• Experience with financial software and systems, including QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a passion for helping businesses thrive.
